Quality Standards
Wahei Freiz is committed to three quality criteria.
Compliance:
We don’t offer any product that does not comply with regulations, including the Food Labeling Act, the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations, and the Food Sanitation Act.
Compliance with official standards:
We offer products that meet JIS standards, such as for coating thickness or wear resistance established by Industrial Standardization Act.
Compliance to WIS:
We offer products that meet WIS, our own criteria for enhanced reliability and reassurance.
What are Wahei Freiz internal criteria “WIS”?
WIS
WIS (Wahei Industrial Standard) is our criteria to inspect products from
“our customers’ perspectives”, and this is practicable because of our knowledge and technologies accumulated over the 70 years since our establishment.
We like to offer products that can satisfy our customers as much as possible ―
At Wahei Freiz, we establish criteria to be met from “the customers’ perspectives”.
Even when there is no safety issue, we inspect, for example, to check:
Would a pan’s coating become dull or change color soon after customers begin using it?
or Would this pot take too long to boil water?
These criteria have been established based on our customers’ opinions over the years, and we inspect our products in product-specific categories, such as pans or pots, then in detailed component categories such as handles or coatings.
